This app has less manual control features than the stock camera. Bye bye to my $3.00

I wish there was a return policy for apps. This one Is useless. Id really like my $3.49 back.

Amazing, just stunned by the quality of the picture I just took with my iPad, sitting on my steps in the garage the only light on is the overhead door light and if you could see the amount of grain on the screen while Im pointing the camera and the actual picture produced, you will be very impressed to, as a matter of fact I think Ill tack a screen shot of the camera view then show my wife the difference between the two. Thanks for this amazing camera app.

Ive tested Cortex against every camera App I could find. This App, and Hydra are the only two I could see a noticeable difference in picture quality. Better than Hydra, and easier to use. All the other Apps are no better than the default camera, even with manual adjustment capability. Great in Lo Light also.

Works with the front facing camera too!

I have tried about using about a dozen paid camera apps and I use cortex when I need the most detailed pictures. Cortex takes many pictures and combines them into one very clear one. However, this requires that your hand stays still. If you manage to do it right, you will get extremely detailed pictures where you have to zoom in to really appreciate the additional detail.

Nice to see this still being updated even in 2016! Great app! You hear about all the new phones in 2016 boosting low-light performance. But just using this app makes my iPhone 6 still relevant.

For steady subjects it is **amazing**, especially in low light but in all cases too (as long as nothing is moving too much in the frame). Great work!

UPDATE: After two weeks of shooting with various iPhone photography apps, I cannot find the merit of Cortex Camera. Cortex Camera images continue to be the shots I delete. If Im doing it wrong, it sure would be helpful if the developer would provide an FAQ or tutorial. -- I keep taking the same photos on an iPhone 5 with both the native Apple Camera app and the Cortex Camera app. I keep hoping that the Cortex Camera photos will be clear and lucid. The Cortex Camera photos are fuzzy when compared to the same photos taken with the built-in Camera app. Neither the Cortex Camera website nor the app provide a tutorial or a FAQ to explain to the user how to correctly use the app. Cortex Camera needs to provide more explanation on how to take superior photos using their seemingly lackluster app. Until then, dont waste your money. Overpriced disappointment.

App does not work on iOS8 please update ASAP.
